Job Details

PURPOSE: Maintain the

accounting records and reports. Ensure that reports, accounts, systems, policies and practices adhere to GAAP.

Maintain an accounting system that properly reflects the financial position

EXPERIENCE: Two to four years of accounting experience.

EDUCATION: A two or four-year college degree or equivalent experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze and reconcile daily and monthly general ledger for various accounts as assigned.

2. Perform specialized or confidential accounting duties, including researching data and preparing reports as needed.

3. Enter data into accounting system and generate reports on a daily basis.

4. Reconcile daily cash balances, research any open items, cash imbalances and variances and ensure items clear in a timely manner.

5. Ensure month end cash accounts reconcile.

6. Ensure corporate checks clear daily and process Accounts Payable checks for approval, as needed.

7. Prepare end of month journal entries, assist in month end reconcilements and ensure all reconcilements are complete and accurate.

8. Participate in quarterly ALCO meetings.

9. Assist in the investment posting process.

10. Work with auditors and examiners as needed.

11. Gather information to assist accounting department in various projects.

12. Other duties as requested by management
