Under the supervision of the Chief Revenue Officer, the
Director of Sales Development
will own both the pipeline and revenue performance of the Sales Development Organization. They will be responsible for working cross-functionally within Sales, Marketing, Operations and other organizations. This leader will partner with the CRO in setting budgets, directing GTM strategy and directing pipeline development throughout the entire GTM function.
Responsibilities:
Consistently achieve pipeline and revenue targets for the businessOversee front-line managers in their ability to execute monthly, quarterly, and annual targetsPartner with the CRO to set organizational pipeline and revenue targetsSet quotas and territories for the organizationSet budget and hiring goals and expectations, and assist front-line managers in executing against those targets periodicallyProvide strategic direction to operations and enablement on how to deploy technology and processes organization-wide.Direct the GTM function in how to improve pipeline development.Work cross-functionally to improve GTM readiness across sales, operations, and marketing.Background Required:
7+ years of Sales Leadership experience5+ Years of experience running sales or SDR/BDR teamsGreat coaching abilityIntimate understanding of process optimizationDeep insight into performance and strategy evaluationExperience running effective 1:1’sTrack record of effective collaboration between sales management as well as marketing leadersProven work experience running high-growth SDR teamsKnowledgeable in sales automation toolsLocation: San Diego, CAOther Essential Abilities and Skills:
