LHH is recruiting a Legal Assistant for a downtown law firm.

The Legal Assistant will assist attorneys with litigation matters.

Responsibilities

Scheduling the calendar of activities of attorney, including making commitments for conferences, court dates, meetings and other appointments

Composing and editing of correspondence, legal briefs and other related documents

Responsible for e-filing documents with courts and agencies in accordance with applicable rules.

Responsible for coordinating transcription of audio recordings.

Responsible for coordinating the printing and assembling of documents

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant

Possesses extensive knowledge of court rules and ECF procedures.

Demonstrates proficiency in using MS Office, Outlook and Adobe.
