  • RN / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: RN Days 5a - 5p, every other weekend
  • Scope of role: All CVIC nurses rotate between ICU and step down
  • Years required: 2 years ICU experience, CVIC preferred
  • Skills required: Invasive line monitoring, central lines, ventilators, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, bedside procedures
  • Floating: yes to other ICUs
  • Number of beds in unit: 42 total 22 ICU and 20 Step Down
  • Dept Scrub Color: Navy
  • EMR: Cerner
    Job Requirements
  • Certifications required: BLS
  • Certifications required: ACLS
  • Years of experience required: 2 years ICU experience
    Schedule Information
  • RTO blackout dates: no RTO holiday weeks, if not assigned holiday must work the day before or the day after
  • Max RTO: if a full week is requested off will add it to the end of the contract to equal 13 weeks worked
    Additional Details
  • Reason for opening: special, internal vacancy, leave coverage
  • Travelers submitted must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected
  • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility – local candidates not accepted
