Manager – Restaurant & Brewpub

Your Role with the Company:

•        Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed in a timely basis
•        Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and building maintenance
•        Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner
•        Control cash and all other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
•        Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
•        Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary
•        Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, make hiring and termination decisions, and evaluate employee performance
•        Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Manager of a $5M+ full service restaurant & bar
• Able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends
• Brings a strong work ethic and a calm, composed demeanor, especially in high-pressure situations
• Encourages a respectful, open communication environment with staff, guests, and vendors
• Actively seeks opportunities for growth, staying updated on industry trends and embracing new ideas
