Job Description

Established Central Arkansas Air Flow Products Manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to be responsible for all sales related activity. This position will be responsible for developing market strategies and evaluating market conditions, recommending policy and product changes to achieve sales growth.


$110-120K + Bonus and Commissions


This position will perform a wide range of activities from creating sales strategies to supervising customer service personnel and interacting with customers.


  • Possess an understanding of market segments and the industry’s competitive landscape, with the ability to recognize trends and make informed decisions when crafting sales strategies.
  • Develop and Implement Specific Sales Strategies including:

-Maintaining current sales with existing accounts

-Planning and executing for growth with existing accounts

-Planning and executing for acquisition of new accounts

-Recommending pricing structures

-Recommending product development / expansion / enhancement for increased product

competitiveness

-Identify needed Marketing Materials

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage Customer Service Team
  • Quotation Activity
  • Price Questions
  • Market Feedback
  • Reps / Agents
  • Following up on sales targets / new account solicitations
  • Following up on plans for new accounts


  • Attend and Manage Trade Show Activities

Job Requirements:


  • B.S. or A.S. degree in Engineering is preferred
  • 5+ years of techincal sales experience
  • Mechanical Engienering appitude required
  • Ability to travel 3-4 days per month
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Must have the ability to write and speak professionally
  • Must be experienced in reviewing RFQ's
  • Must be experienced in structuring and writing proposals, bids, and quotations
  • Experience in outside sales
  • Experience in team supervision
  • Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in contractor/building products
  • Experience in selling to industrial accounts
  • Experience in selling technical products
