  • Late April/early May start date requested
  • This assignment requires a highly skilled & experienced surgical technologist with a wide level of experience in ortho, neuro, vascular, etc.
  • Candidates that lack a full breadth of current experience will not receive consideration.
  • Actual weekly hours/shifts will be agreed to/set during the phone interview.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours will be adjusted based on hours agreed to by the surgical technologist.
  • Candidates with minimal RTO will receive priority consideration.
  • Surgical technologist will work 36-40 hours/week (three 12-hr shifts or four 10-hr shifts or five 8-hr shifts; start and end times are negotiable).
  • Approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2) and 1-2 Calls per week (split between call 1 and call 2).
  • All call requires a 30-minute response time from the time of the call to arriving on site.
  • Possible Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the surgical technologist's contract.
    Job Requirements
  • Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
  • BLS required
  • CST preferred but not required
  • Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
    Schedule Information
  • 36-40 hours/week
  • Three 12-hr shifts or four 10-hr shifts or five 8-hr shifts; start and end times are negotiable
  • Approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend
  • 1-2 Calls per week (split between call 1 and call 2)
  • Call requirements will mirror current staffing week to week
  • All call requires a 30-minute response time
  • Possible Holiday call rotation may be required.
