Typical Class Essential Duties 1. Manual labor tasks per assigned workgroups which may include: hand shoveling dirt and/or snow, snow blowing, snow making (if assigned to Hogadon Ski Area), watering, sweeping, weeding, mowing, ladder climbing, cleaning, litter pick-up, trash collection, and object lifting and loading/unloading.2. Operate various types of handheld and light mechanical equipment such as trim mowers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.3. Perform daily inspections and safety checks at assigned facility.4. Perform basic cleaning of spectator areas and other hardscapes, emptying trash receptacles and debris management, stocking restrooms, and similar building maintenance tasks.5. Perform basic record keeping relating to grounds maintenance.6. Assist with work on special outdoor projects as needed.7. Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.8.
