THIS POSITION IS PARTIALLY GRANT FUNDED.
Job Summary:
Postdoctoral fellow will support researchon periconceptional and perinatal healthbehaviors, including substance exposed pregnancies. This fellowship will beaffiliated with the NIH-funded HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD)study. The ideal candidate will have experience collecting data frompools of human subjects, conducting data analysis, and writingmanuscripts. The candidate will have opportunities to mentor graduate andundergraduate students; and will be well supported in manuscript writing andpresentations at national conferences. If interested, the fellow will also havesupport and opportunities for mentored grantsmanship (e.g., K-seriesapplications).
Postdoctoral fellow willassist with the following duties: a) manuscript preparation from existingdatasets; b) recruiting and retaining study participants in a longitudinaltrial; c) data collection activities with pregnant people; d) data collectionactivities with infants and young children; and e) data analysis. The fellowwill have opportunities to coauthor multiple scientific articles from existingprimary datasets and write federal grants leveraging the resources andinterdisciplinary connections, across Public Health, Psychiatry, Psychology,Neuroscience, Family Medicine, and Human Development and Family Science, amongother departments.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required:
- PhD in Public Health, Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or a related discipline
- Must have good scientific writing skills with a solid publication record, clinical research experience, and strong quantitative data analytic skills
Preferred:
-Bilingual in Spanish
-Experience working in the field of perinatalhealth and substance exposed pregnancy, and/or previous study coordinationexperience on Federally-funded studies
