*Duties*
* Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
* Administer injections and other medical procedures as required.
* Manage emergency situations effectively, utilizing knowledge of emergency medicine protocols.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding standards for accurate medical documentation.
* Provide specialized care for infants, ensuring adherence to best practices in infant care.
* Utilize Athenahealth software for patient management and documentation purposes.
* Oversee ophthalmology-related procedures and ensure proper patient education.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols.
* Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in medical documentation, including familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
* Experience administering injections and providing infant care.
* Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead nursing staff effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $59.00 - $65.00 per hour
