Our Fortune 100 Medical Device company is looking for a Technician II. The person who takes this role will be expected to perform analysis and repair of electrical and mechanical systems to support daily operations. Our client is intensely focused on creating a workplace environment that reflects our standing as the world’s top medical device company. The technician will mainly focus on the administration of our Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure regulatory compliance with equipment at the facility. The position requires a considerable level of knowledge, and judgment, in determining work methods, performing tasks/tests, and recording data.
This position is onsite with flexibility in the set schedule. Saturday and Sunday will be required.
*A Day in the Life*
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
*Minimum Requirements*
* Completed or working toward an Associate degree in a related field
* Availability/willingness to work within the indicated weekend shift hours
* An independent person who wants to grow and learn on the job
* Hands-on expereince in a technical capacity (repairing engines, working on semi-conductors…)
*Nice to Have*
* Experience in an auto mechanic setting, doing small engine repair, or as a semi-conductor technician
* Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting electronic circuits
* Experience (limited) using machining equipment
* Solid technical ability, equipment setup, and troubleshooting skills
* Experience following and developing procedures for preventative maintenance
* Medical manufacturing experience
