Our client's Chief Data Office is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in optimizing data for modernization efforts. This position will focus on building and managing cloud infrastructure to support stronger decision-making within our business functions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure cloud services, Terraform, and Databricks, along with experience in Python for automation and scripting.





*Key Responsibilities:*
* Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
* Utilize Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for cloud resources.
* Support Databricks environments, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration with data workflows.
* Develop automation scripts using Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data modernization initiatives.
* Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for cost optimization.





*Required Skills & Experience:*
* Strong hands-on experience with Azure subscription and resource management.
* Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
* Experience working with Databricks, including setup, management, and optimization.
* Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and cloud operations.





*Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):*
* Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
* Bash scripting knowledge for managing cloud environments.
* Familiarity with JQ for JSON parsing and data manipulation.
* Understanding of HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and security.
