Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a strong background in organ transplant procedures. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with liver transplants, including placing the organ into the new patient (not just organ harvesting). Experience with heart, lung, and kidney transplants is also required. Proficiency in Misonix/CUSA is a must.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR tech experience required.
2. Transplant Expertise: Strong liver transplant experience must be reflected in the skills checklist.
3. Certification: NBSTSA or NCCT recommended.
4. BLS Certification: Required.
5. First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
6. On-Call & Weekend Requirements: Manager will discuss shift options during the interview.
7. Floating: May be required to float to sister facilities.
