We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Lead to oversee and manage SAP data migration projects, particularly within an S/4 HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data migration, ETL processes, and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). This role requires strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, work closely with clients, and manage both onsite and offshore teams to ensure successful data migration and transformation for SAP S/4 HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration and ETL Leadership:
- Lead SAP data migration projects with a focus on S/4 HANA, ensuring all data is accurately migrated and aligned with system requirements.
- Utilize SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
Client Engagement and Consulting:
- Serve as the primary client contact, gathering requirements, conducting data analysis, and mapping data between source systems and S/4 HANA.
- Oversee and manage an onsite/offshore delivery model, providing direction and coordination between team members.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the “to-be” landscape and processes.
- Develop data requirements, map data, and document conversion rules to facilitate a smooth migration to S/4 HANA.
- Ensure all project deliverables are met according to quality and timeline expectations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration/ETL, with a minimum of 2 years focused on S/4 HANA Data Migration.
- 7+ years of experience with SAP BODS, with strong skills in design and analysis.
- At least 7 years in a client-facing consulting role, with experience in managing a delivery model involving both onsite and offshore resources.
