Job Description

We are looking for candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience with Django and who have worked in an Agile/start-up environment. This experience must be reflected in the resume.

Required:

• Strong Django experience (3-5 years)
• Experience in an Agile environment/start-up company
• Direct development task experience

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Python / Django, JavaScript (especially jQuery)
• Resourceful in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Able to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
• Experience on AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure providers

Preferred:

• Demonstrated projects on GitHub
• Contrarian thinker able to execute ideas effectively
• Familiarity with Linux command line (Ubuntu or CentOS)
• Experience with performance optimization, scaling, and event analytics
• Ability to write scripts on Fabric and deploy to a Linux instance
• Good sense of humor
