Position: Principal Software Engineer with architecture experience

Location: Westborough, MA - Hybrid - 1-2 times a week onsite, rest remote

Salary: Up to $185K base plus bonus and benefits

We are a strong healthcare company that builds software products to save lives! We are building out a new business initiative and seeking a Principal Software Engineer with architecture experience to join the team . You will lead a team of consultants.

In this role you will be a hands-on Lead (Principal) Software Engineer, working across Agile teams, rolling up your sleeves developing and architecting solutions with an emphasis on the architecture. This position is full-stack with a focus on the server side.

It's important that you have strong .Net, C#, Microservices and multi-threaded programming skills.

You must have experience developing in the medical/healthcare industry.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred
2. 9+ years of software development experience. Having architecture experience is a huge plus
3. Must have leadership experience, you will be doing hands-on development as well as architecture leading a team of consultants
4. Experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack, C#, .Net, multi-threaded programming and microservices
5. Experience developing in the medical/healthcare industry
6. Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and development of containerized applications
7. Demonstrated proficiency in development of various software components, including, but not limited to the flow of information between proprietary hardware interfaces via socket using standard and proprietary protocols
8. Experience with API development using GRPC and HTTP/REST
9. Strong experience working in an Agile environment
10. Strong communication skills as this role works across multiple groups and leadership
