Banking-related Litigation Staff Attorney (non-partnership track)

Locations: South Jersey, NJ; North Jersey, NJ; Philadelphia, PA

Our client, a distinguished AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a dedicated Staff Attorney to join their Banking & Financial Services Litigation Team in North Jersey , South Jersey , or Philadelphia . This full-time position offers the opportunity to represent lenders in mortgage foreclosure actions while working closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This is a non-partnership track position.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction.
  • 2–4 years of substantive experience representing lenders in mortgage foreclosure actions .
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling all phases of foreclosure litigation , including pleadings, motion practice, and client communications.
  • Bankruptcy experience is a plus .
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent financial institutions in mortgage foreclosure litigation .
  • Draft pleadings , motions , and other legal documents related to foreclosure matters.
  • Manage case files , conduct legal research , and develop case strategies .
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case progress and legal strategies.
  • Collaborate with firm attorneys to ensure effective case management and successful outcomes.
