Job Description:

The Downtown - Los Angeles office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate to join its Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department; to assist with all aspects of litigation with a focus on financial services clients.

The Downtown - Los Angeles office is looking for an associate who is willing to take on these challenges and become part of a team. Our practice is national in scope and presents opportunities for young associates to develop industry knowledge, learn client development and litigation skills, and take an active role in all aspects of matters.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant general litigation experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Court experience and candidates who have served as judicial law clerks would be considered a plus.
  • Please submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample.
  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients, business, and legal teams.
  • Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills.
