Position : Senior Network Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and secure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Optimize system performance through monitoring, analysis, and configuration adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues, ensuring 24/7 uptime and reliability.
- Support WAN/LAN management, working closely with telecom and IT teams.
- Maintain documentation, assist with change control, and stay current on industry trends.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years working with VPN protocols (SSL, IPSEC, DMVPN), routing (BGP, OSPF), and firewall administration.
- Expertise in network operating systems (Junos, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet).
- Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, DNS, and security protocols.
- Experience with Windows & Linux server environments, log monitoring, and SIEM tools.
- US citizen; must have lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Industry certifications (CCNP, Fortinet, etc.).
- Experience with data center infrastructure and packet capture tools.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
