Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s computer systems and networks by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats. The analyst will play a key role in developing security policies and procedures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must have 2 + years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role.
  • Must have experience with security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software).
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architecture.
  • Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm).
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and database security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • May require on-call availability for incident response.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.

Compensation Range: $90,000/yr - $120,000/yr

What you get:

Health, vision, dental, short-term/long-term disability policies, and group life insurance effective 1st day of the month following 30 days of hire date. 144 hours Paid Time Off (PTO) annually – pro-rated based on hiring date, first year. 8 Hours of Paid Time off for birthday to be used 2 weeks prior or after birthday annually. 401k participation after 6 months of continued employment. Monthly Work from Home Allowance and reimbursement for fitness programs.
