BAI, a Defense contractor, seeks candidates to serve as a Junior Full Stack Web Developer with 1+ years of experience to work for a Department of Defense (DoD) program onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $77,000.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
• May supervise computer programmers

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.

• 2 years’ experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines
• 2 years’ experience with Java, JavaScript, Containers, and Micro-services architecture
• 2 years’ experience with SQL
• 1 year experience with HTML and CSS
• 1 year experience with Git
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
• Experience working as a Scrum team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, self-starter
• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs

Desired Experience

• Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline experience
• AMQP (RabbitMQ)
• Java ORM such as Hibernate
• Java with Spring or Java EE
• Restful web services
• SPA, ReactJS/Redux
• WebSockets

Education

• BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree.

Clearance

• Condition of employment - must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
