ASRC Federal requires a highly motivated Senior Test Data Programmer to support the ASTROS Contract. We are looking for someone with the ability to establish test site protocols. We support the testing of incredible propulsion systems at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and we are looking for the best people to be a part of this research.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine performance analysis of all test sites to ensure AFRL test protocols are being followed.
2. Review test control room analysis to ensure the proper tools are in place and test personnel are trained.
3. Receive assignments from Senior Engineer or Project Manager and work to completion providing status updates as needed.
4. Perform analysis on the integrity of a test fixture, support structures, flooring, or test software.
5. Assess test stand structures for safety, quality, and adherence to regulations and clearly communicate findings to the Customer’s Site Leader.
6. Serve or observe the test dry runs and evaluate team and systems performance.
7. May be required to serve as part of the Test Team.
8. Develop relationships with the buildup crew and create a strong team environment.
9. Develop testing protocols and ensure all test sites understand the protocols.
10. Perform routine required inspections to ensure ASTROS is maintaining standards.
11. Familiar with test hardware and software and the ability to diagnose issues.
12. Teach Test Teams to write and edit Work Authorizations for technicians to complete work assignments.
13. Provide routine briefings to Senior Engineer, Site Scheduler, Customers, and Program Management of all assigned tasks related to Test Facility Build up.
14. Assist in supporting senior leadership during a test readiness review prior to receiving customer’s permission to test.
15. Maintain a professional demeanor.
16. Have effective written and verbal communication skills.

Education/Experience:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related Engineering Degree.
• 5+ years of experience.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be able to work at heights and depths.
• Work overtime with little notification.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and extreme cold.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA.

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a DOD secret clearance.
