Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City/Plano, TX (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java development, including Core Java and Spring Boot. You will design and deliver applications for data management, ensuring seamless system integration and automated data quality checks.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Java Developer job responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, REST services, and Spring Boot
- Experience with RDBMS and PL/SQL in Oracle databases
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git
- Knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies

Pay Details: $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
