$62.36-$67.36/Hour

A Software Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space and Defense . As a Software Engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for development and testing of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments. The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only do we maintain the current live system, but you will help add new capabilities, enhancements, and replace end-of-life components.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or STEM and 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
• Embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux) and significant C++ programming experience
• Ability to lead the software development process
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
• Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Agile experience preferred
