Job overview:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting with a variety of duties to ensure successful execution of programs across the Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) Team. The HC Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support of the HCBP team. This role ensures smooth and efficient functioning of HC processes and serves as a critical liaison between HCBPs, managers, employees, and the Human Capital department at large. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple HC priorities, support strategic HC projects, and foster strong relationships across the organization. The HC Coordinator will manage a variety of work, including but not limited to employee data management, report generation, and contributing to HCBP cyclical work, projects, and other initiatives. There will be an increase in responsibility and complexity of work and projects over time, as knowledge and skills develop.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records for assigned internal client groups, through quarterly audits of the HCIS.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on employee data, metrics, and HCBP initiatives; ensure output is summarized as needed.
- Coordinate activities related to the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, 30–90-day check-ins, and assigned exit interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for employees; raise issues to HCBP and summarize trends.
- Participate in the implementation and execution of HCBP projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, talent development programs, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HC communications and updates.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and HCBPs, providing information and answering inquiries regarding HC policies and procedures, liaising with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits, etc.).
- Assist with HCBP work and projects: creating, maintaining, and administering templates, letters, documents, and files.
- Help coordinate HCBP training and other talent development programs.
- Serve as a back-up for HCBPs across a variety of work and activities.
- Work closely with HCBP on employee relations issues, performance management, and compensation processes, and provide ad-hoc support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience working in an administrative or HC support role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with prompt follow-through and time management required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented individual with a commitment to accuracy.
- High level of integrity in maintaining discretion in confidential discussions and scenarios; ability to recognize when and how to escalate effectively.
- Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates initiative to independently and proactively identify needs of the HCBP team and flexibility to help where needed.
- Intellectual curiosity to question the status quo and bring creativity and efficiency to existing processes.
- Professional Services experience preferred.
