Job Title: IT Professional

Location(s): Charlotte, NC

Position Description:

• Performs IT operations and maintenance activities according to approved procedures, guidelines and standards in support of our new world-class Customer Experience Center.
• Performs first level troubleshooting of network connectivity for users and for systems, by checking cabling, system configuration, IP assignments and user/device enrollment in systems.
• Performs smart-hands tasks such as cabling, resets, configuration and troubleshooting of various demonstration medical imaging equipment at the direction of remote Business Experts.
• General understanding of the installed audiovisual (A/V) systems and collaboration tools, assisting users with feature/function and performing first level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams/Teams Rooms and Surface Hub is helpful.
• Alignment and coordination with A/V vendor and A/V support provider during maintenance and support tasks.
• Implements programs and procedures for safeguarding data/information security and safety.
• Executes and/or organizes relevant testing.
• Designs and documents existing and changed IT operational processes.
• Develops necessary service levels in order to fulfill business requirements.
• Performs 2nd-level user help desk activities, individual coaching and training.

Impacts:

• Expected to adopt existing concepts, methodologies, etc. in order to create and open up new ways of approaching and fulfilling specific internal and external client requests or project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior Professional positions which need senior professional expertise, with extensive functional, commercial and/or technical knowledge in an area of competence.
• Integrates analysis, development, testing and implementation.
• Interprets and functionally influences policy and guidelines in their area of business/technology, and develops processes and systems to deliver functional objectives.
• Typically plans own work according to targets agreed, within a quarterly up to an annual cycle, by integrating resources in a project-driven environment.
• Provides functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.
• A chartered professional qualification or equivalent is typically associated with grades (though not necessary).

Experience:

• 8-10 years.
