Job Overview:

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be a key player for the Developer Experience Platform Development and Self-Service automation team to drive and develop solutions, coding, and platform management to improve developer productivity and effectiveness. You will work autonomously while driving collaboration and development best practices among the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive engineering technical solutions, best practices, design, and development of Cloud native solutions.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum, PI Planning, and work with Scrum Master, RTE, and Project Manager to estimate key deliverables and manage milestones.
  • Conduct code reviews, solution design sessions, Lunch and Learn sessions, and technical demos for knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
  • Meet partner teams and the developer community to understand pain points.
  • Manage and maintain documentation of technical requirements, runbooks, DR strategy, release management, and design documents.
  • Hands-on application development (Web, API, and Mobile), security and vulnerability resolution, coding, and testing of platform/scaffolding/templates.
  • Work closely with engineers, tech leads, architecture, security, and quality engineering teams to architect and deliver technical reference designs for APIs and web.
  • Drive innovation and automation to simplify challenges and enhance developer productivity across the enterprise.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on 5+ years of end-to-end application development experience in .Net, Angular, Typescript, and Python-based cloud-hosted web, mobile, and microservice development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in orchestration platforms (EKS, OpenShift).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud technologies: AWS IAM, Security Groups, API Gateway, ECS Fargate, Lambda, Elastic Cache, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Elastic Search, Document DB, SQS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, Terraform templates, Secret Manager, Parameter Store, Kinesis, CloudWatch, EKS, Kafka, Cognito, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.

Core Competencies:

  • Experience developing complete solutions considering sizing, infrastructure, data protection, disaster recovery, security, and application requirements on cloud enterprise systems.
  • Experience adhering to an Agile development environment and iterative sprint cycle.
  • Deep understanding of API design, OpenAPI specifications, GitOps, and IAC.
  • Experience developing unit test cases and improving test coverage for existing codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with Code Quality and Code Coverage tools/frameworks (e.g., SonarQube, Vera Code), GitHub Actions, Docker, and IDEs like Visual Studio, and IntelliJ.

Preferences:

  • 1+ years of experience in Backstage.io or similar internal developer platform setup.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in self-service application and infrastructure automation.
  • Expertise in problem-solving, technical leadership, and leading developer communities.
  • Certified Azure/AWS Solution Engineers/Developer/Architect.
  • Strong work ethic, learning, growth mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Pay Range: $111,500.00 - $185,800.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, LPL’s Total Rewards package is highly competitive. Your recruiter will discuss all that LPL has to offer!
