Applications Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will facilitate New Product Introduction through the most efficient and effective means to the Operations team.
• You are responsible for Continuous Improvement initiatives identified by the business to improve productivity and/or customer satisfaction.
• You will develop and maintain expertise with the process equipment in Operations.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, part and process issues with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in organizing and creating documentation necessary for new applications.

What makes you great

• You must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of project engineering experience. Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a 'hands-on' environment is required. Thermal Spray experience is preferred.
• Tooling development and CAD experience with the ability to become knowledgeable on LAMT coating systems is required.
• As this role will involve executing and completing projects, you must have effective project management skills with the ability to complete multiple projects independently.
