Vice President of Revenue
Start Up - Clean Energy
What You’ll Do:
As the Vice President of Revenue, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with leadership, sales, and operations teams to scale the sales organization and optimize revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable sales processes to support growth.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast revenue and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document sales data to enhance organizational knowledge.
- Coordinate with Logistics and Fulfillment to ensure timely product delivery.
- Prepare and present regular sales and operational reports.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute a strategy to meet revenue targets.
- Engage with target clients, pitch solutions, and build strong, long-term relationships.
- Conduct client education sessions to promote sustainable building materials.
- Guide clients through technical decisions on wood products and sustainable alternatives.
- Manage top sales opportunities and oversee their progression through the pipeline.
- Ensure alignment between customer needs and inventory with the Supply team.
- Lead and develop a high-performance sales team.
Required:
- 8-10 years of experience scaling sales organizations.
- Proven track record in sales leadership with client-facing experience.
- Strong operational expertise and experience optimizing sales processes and using CRMs like HubSpot.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Preferred:
- Experience with sustainable building materials or wood products.
- Established network within architecture, design, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of specifications, proposals, and bid submissions.
- Passion for sustainability and circular economy practices.
- Strong work ethic, with a willingness to put in the effort regardless of background or experience.
