Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm with a nationally recognized Food & Beverage Industry team , is seeking an experienced Counsel to join their Washington, D.C. office. This role focuses on FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, specifically within the food industry.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C.
- Significant experience in FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement , with a strong background in food industry regulations .
- Current or recent experience serving at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is required .
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise food industry clients on FDA regulatory compliance , including product labeling, safety, and marketing regulations.
- Represent clients in enforcement actions and regulatory matters before the FDA and other government agencies .
- Provide strategic guidance on risk management , compliance programs , and internal investigations .
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments affecting the food and beverage sector and counsel clients on emerging risks and opportunities .
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to address legal challenges at the intersection of food law, public policy, and litigation.
