Job Description
Our client, a digital payment platform for the logistics industry, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for a direct hire role located in Atlanta, GA. This role will be hybrid.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our Golang and Python APIs running in AWS. We’re looking for a strong problem solver and team player who can immediately contribute to the success of our team.
Day to Day: - Develop API software for our platform, which includes SaaS and mobile applications.
- Help implement our strategy for migrating legacy code to modern standards.
- Participate in code reviews.
Qualifications: - 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience working with APIs using Golang, Python, or similar language.
- Experience with relational databases and developing transactional software.
- Serverless systems development experience working with AWS services like API Gateway, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, and Cognito.
- Payments or accounting SaaS experience a plus.
- US citizens or individuals with existing work visas only.
Base Salary: $150,000-$160,000. Final determination of salary will be based on an evaluation of experience, education, budget, etc.
