Location
Duties
- Serve as first-chair attorney in trials
- Draft and respond to complaints
- Develop and implement case strategies
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Draft legal documents, including motions, stipulations, briefs, and declarations
- Meet and confer with opposing counsel
- Manage discovery and coordinate related processes
- Represent clients in mediation, hearings, and oral arguments
- Maintain strong communication with clients and provide case updates
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in real estate and complex commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of California state laws and litigation procedures
- Ability to manage a large caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the State of California and in good standing
