Senior Financial Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in this organization by overseeing the administration and maintenance of our accounting/financial systems. This role entails driving system upgrades, leading user testing, promoting continuous improvements, and managing impactful projects. You will also engage in workflow mapping, data validation, and ad hoc analysis to support the growth and success of our team.

Summary:

  • Administer and maintain financial systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Manage system upgrades, including assessments of periodic software updates and rigorous user testing.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements for financial workflows.
  • Map workflows and support project management initiatives.
  • Validate data integrity and provide detailed ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to support the organization's goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting/finance, with a strong grasp of GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and accounting workflows.
  • Extensive experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, S4/Hana, Oracle, Workday).
  • Previous experience in a financial systems role within a large organization.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise (PMP designation is a plus).

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $95-120k. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
