As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we are looking for an experienced
Quality Engineer who will be responsible for the following:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for submittal of Production Part Approvals (PPAP) to customer.
- Lead local teams in Formal Customer Complaint response.
- Conduct Internal Audits, including LPA's.
- Conduct training on Quality processes and support applications
- Work with functional leaders on the development of company standards and "best practices"
- Facilitate coordination of efforts between functional leaders and plant teams to create content that makes sense and moves the organization forward
- Work with plant leadership on development and execution of action plans for improvement.
- Review quality of corrective action responses and identify opportunities for teaching and coaching, and for system improvements.
- Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives the company's continuous improvement process and policies.
- Responsibility for facilitating Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) completion.
- Execute or facilitate team training.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Enforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's Degree (within Logistics/Supply Chain/Engineering) is highly preferred
- 3+ years' vehicle manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with Quality processes to include: PFMEA, APQP, PPAP
- Experience with Compliance and regulatory requirements to include: IATF 16949, ISO 9001
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
