OPS Consulting is seeking a
Build and Integration Engineer 3 to work in
Laurel, MD. As a Build and Integration Engineer 3 at OPS Consulting you will be responsible for the operation, design, and integration of a broad range of systems and components. You will provide expertise on integrating sub-systems at scale, as well as interfaces with environmental systems, facilities, data systems, and security infrastructure.
Required Experience:- 5+ years of experience with complex systems integration
- 5+ years of experience with CAD modeling and analysis (one or more of SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with integrating systems that having challenging facility and supporting infrastructure requirements.

- Familiarity with large scientific instruments (CERN, WEBB Telescope)
- Significant expertise in at least two of the following areas and familiarity with at least three additional areas:
- High vacuum systems
- Liquefaction
- Low temperature systems and thermal analysis
- Pneumatics distribution
- Hydraulics distribution
- Stress modeling and analysis
- Vibrational modeling and analysis
- Civil/architectural engineering
- Advanced fabrication and manufacturing process control
Qualifications:- A minimum of 14 years of experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
