Job DescriptionAs a senior media strategist, you will be responsible for shaping and executing media strategies and creative projects for one of the agency's most important clients in English-speaking Canada. Your work will involve identifying and reaching target audiences, deriving relevant insights, and evaluating the success of campaigns for the client. You will also be responsible for developing working relationships with our clients, as well as with the team based in Montreal and our various media collaborators and partners.
ResponsibilitiesMedia Strategy and Planning
- Collect and analyze market data to extract relevant insights;
- Identify target audiences and understand their behavior and habits;
- Determine the optimal media mix for our campaigns;
- Optimize advertising campaigns;
- Allocate budgets and monitor costs;
- Stay updated on media trends both online and offline (TV shows, magazines, blogs, radio programs), always keeping abreast of new media;
- Evaluate the success of media strategies and campaigns;
- Collaborate with clients from Toronto and Montreal as well as the digital performance and strategy teams in Toronto and Montreal
Additional Responsibilities
- Support team members in their roles as media strategists;
- Contribute to the ongoing training of the strategic team;
- Develop relationships and opportunities with our media partners in Toronto;
- Improve team workflows to generate added value for strategic expertise.
Qualifications- 3-4 years of experience in media strategy across all media channels, both online and offline, as well as in managing media creativity projects;
- A bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field;
- Intermediate level in planning tools (Vividata, Comscore, NLogic, etc.);
- Good understanding of SEM and programmatic paid social media;
- Familiarity with using MMM is an asset;
- Advanced knowledge of best optimization practices;
- Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is an asset;
- Basic knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs);
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google;
- Experience in the retail, food, and CPG sectors (asset).
