Job Title: Senior Media Strategist
Reports To: Director of Paid/Digital Media
OVERVIEWThe Senior Media Strategist is responsible for strategy, tactical approach and execution of digital and endemic media campaigns across paid search, programmatic engagement, publisher media and other channel opportunities. This role works closely with the Director of Paid/Digital Media and the SVP DES to set and support a future vision for the media team and to execute against that vision. In addition, this role also works closely with account teams, finance team members, project managers and other digital engagement strategy team members to ensure campaigns directly support stated client goals and initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS - Develop media strategy in line with client objectives
- Build tactical plans
- Campaign setup and execution
- Day-to-day oversight and optimization
- Test and Learn recommendations, planning and management
- Provide custom analysis, insights and reports
- Work with account leads and project managers to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and project requirements
- Build strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally with publisher media partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage to strict deadlines
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - B.S. in marketing, communications, journalism and/or related field
- 5+ years paid search and/or programmatic marketing experience
- Google Ads certification or equivalent programmatic certification preferred but not required
- Experience with DoubleClick/Google Marketing Suite
- Agency experience strongly preferred
