RESPONSIBILITIES- Manages activities involved with establishing, tracking, managing, and reporting all aspects of program/project planning and execution, including budgeting, technical requirements, personnel, and customer needs.
- Responsible for all program management activities. Responsible for overall assignment of work, and scheduling and reviewing work, management of personnel, financial, operations, facilities and resources, risk management, quality control, contract management reporting, and management of project leads.
- Provides direction for the following program/project management phases: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
- Ensures that projects are fully controlled, that goals and objectives are set, program responsibility is assigned, and results are documented.
- Interfaces with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and customer agency representatives.
- Self-manage work assignments, contribute to quality, on-time deliverables, make identifiable contributions to customer success
- Contribute to project direction and foster collaboration
- Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships.
- Contribute to a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment and participate in knowledge sharing opportunities
REQUIREMENTS- Master of Business Administration/Science degree, 10 years related experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Science and 15 years of related experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Must be familiar with the FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS) and experience in the development investment analysis business cases is desired.
- Experience with managing the technical and management areas of programs/contracts of significant size and scope.
- Experience with administering the Earned Value Management system on a program/contract.
- Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational skills, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills are essential.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
