About The Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze E-Commerce businesses, focusing on traffic efficiency, user behavior, and merchant operations. Independently undertake special analyses on merchant growth, traffic conversion, creator/content growth, and user behavior.
- Develop short-term and long-term scale and revenue targets.
- Provide regular reports and insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze various operating indicators and drivers of the e-commerce operations team on a daily basis.
- Leverage insights from analysis to make informed recommendations for future business strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of strategic and analytical experience focused on market intelligence.
- Experience in e-commerce and B2C consumer industries
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and writting) and can effectively handle cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Excel and major external syndicated databases (e.g., credit card, traffic, market data) is a must

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and other data visualization tools
- Strong network with investors and merchant communities, or experience working as a creator or merchant on major US marketplaces
- Proactive and self-starter mindset focused on continuous improvement
Ideal background includes:
- 1) Market intelligence team at high-growth Ecommerce / Internet company
- 2) Public equity research or investment (e.g., asset management, equity research at a leading investment bank); and/or
- 3) Top-tier strategic consulting firm focused on corporate finance/shareholder value and commercial due diligence practices
