Niyam is seeking a motivated Senior Consultant to join our team. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. Position is remote, but will require occasional travel for public meetings. This is in support of a proposed project for Small Business Administration.

Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in health and social services recovery, applying practical experience and theoretical knowledge to develop effective solutions and ensure the successful execution of project activities and objectives. This role involves providing targeted support based on their discipline, conducting program planning, assessment, evaluation, and preparing technical reports. The Senior Consultant will also lead or assist in discussions and meetings with clients or project teams.

• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing specialized knowledge and support for health and social services recovery projects.
• Apply theoretical and practical expertise to develop and implement effective solutions and strategies.
• Oversee and manage project activities, ensuring objectives are met and high standards of quality are maintained.
• Conduct detailed program planning, assessment, and evaluation to support project success and deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical reports that communicate findings, recommendations, and progress.
• Lead or participate in meetings and discussions with clients and project teams, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
• Perform advanced tasks requiring specialized technical knowledge and experience in health and social services recovery.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Expertise in program planning, assessment, and evaluation within health and social services.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading client and project team discussions.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Provide expert guidance and strategic oversight for projects related to health and social services recovery.
• Ensure the successful delivery and achievement of project objectives through effective solution development and application of specialized knowledge.
• Lead and coordinate program planning, assessment, and evaluation efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain SBA clearance
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field and at least ten (10) years of experience in consulting. Non-technical majors may be accepted with relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Active Public Trust Clearance
• Prior experience working with federal contracts
• Data Warehouse and User Experience background
• Technical skills and/or experience
• Experience with Agile methodology and Jira software
