Strategic Marketing DirectorLocation: On-Site in Nashville, TN
Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 plus annual bonus
Hours: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday
Job SummaryThe Strategic Marketing Director is a senior-level B2B marketer with expertise in translating business insights into effective marketing strategies that drive growth. This role requires deep knowledge of the healthcare and GPO industry, with a focus on creating impactful promotions and collateral for existing and prospective members. You will collaborate with internal teams to shape brand identity, develop resources, and fulfill HealthTrust Performance Group's commitment to its membership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a creative approach grounded in data-driven insights.Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Leadership: Lead branding initiatives, including key messaging and positioning.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee annual and 3-year strategic marketing plans.
  • Membership Growth: Develop strategies to increase GPO membership.
  • Marketing Execution: Create and execute marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead Generation: Partner with Sales to generate and nurture leads.
  • Cross-Selling: Promote the entire portfolio of offerings to optimize performance and savings.

General Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with internal experts to support strategic marketing efforts.
  • Lead market research and commercialization for product launches.
  • Develop promotional materials, manage trade show strategies, and support deeper penetration into strategic accounts.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to business planning.
  • Identify new opportunities and strategies for growth based on market analysis.
  • Conduct market research and assess new customer segments for growth.

Communications:
  • Work with the PR team to execute public relations strategies.
  • Develop press releases to promote services and company growth.
  • Manage media inquiries and crisis communications.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years in advanced marketing roles, with industry experience in healthcare or GPO preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
