We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Case Management Manager to be a part of a growing medical facility. This in-office role will be responsible for overseeing a multitude of beds with expected growth in the near future. The
Case Management Manager will play a crucial role in the expansion of the facility with the expectation to maintain strong leadership and work without guidance at times. This position holds a lot of room for growth.
Location: (onsite) Jacksonville, FL
Salary: 81K+ (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm
Responsibilities: - Responsible for staffing/scheduling for assigned areas. Tracks time and attendance and assures compliance with the Time and Attendance policy.
- Responsible for hiring, training and the daily supervision of assigned staff.
- Performs periodic and annual performance evaluations for subordinate staff in compliance with established guidelines.
- Assists the Director in implementing performance improvement initiatives within the department. Conducts periodic staff performance audits, provides feedback to staff on a routine basis, and implements performance improvement strategies and corrective action, as appropriate.
- Assists the Director with the development and annual review of departmental policies and procedures.
- Assists the Director in developing the annual budget and managing departmental resources within the established budget.
- Provides back-up coverage for assigned staff, as needed.
- Serves as the Director in the incumbent's absence.
- Maintains positive working relationships interdepartmentally and intradepartmentally.
- Represents department on intradepartmental and interdepartmental committees, task forces, etc. as requested by the Director.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management within job scope.
Requirements: - BSN or Master's in Social Work required
- Active LCSW in the state of FL required
- Case Management Certification of Trauma Certification is required but they have a year to get it
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience required
- 3-5 years of utilization management, case management and/or discharge planning experience and/or experience in a hospital setting or in an academic medical center required
