Reporting to the Regional Employee Relations Lead, the
HR Manager is responsible for managing moderately complex Employee Relations (ER) cases independently and in collaboration with various stakeholders. This role involves conducting confidential investigations, providing guidance to management, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and contributing to a positive work environment.
This would start as a REMOTE position.
Pay: $47/hour

Contract-to-hire - Remote to start Responsibilities: - Manage moderately complex ER cases, involving high-risk situations, senior staff, or external investigative agencies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into serious misconduct, harassment, discrimination, etc.
- Analyze data and prepare well-documented and legally sound documentation for disciplinary actions.
- Provide recommendations aligned with company values and coach management through action implementation.
- Minimize organizational risk by conducting unbiased investigations and implementing appropriate actions.
- Facilitate terminations, including meetings, documentation, and related processes.
- Offer guidance to business management on ER best practices and fair treatment.
- Facilitate training on ER services with the Learning department.
- Liaise with internal and external legal counsel when necessary.
- Manage medical accommodation processes, including interactive discussions.
- Advise on corrective action processes and performance improvement plans.
- Drive a culture of high performance and engagement.
- Maintain accurate case management records in compliance systems.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, business, organizational psychology, or related field.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- 3 - 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Manager.
- Proficiency in managing investigations and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes in a dynamic organization.
- Experience in a global, matrixed reporting environment preferred.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations at the regional level.
- Ability to use case management software and HRIS systems.
- Ability to manage complex cases and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing abilities.
- Result-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Bilingual/multi-lingual skills are a plus.
- Labor experience in unionized locations preferred.
