Position Summary
Astound Broadband, a growing leader in telecommunications, is seeking a Regional Director Business Solutions to join our Enterprise Sales team. The Regional Director will be based out of our Chicago market and is responsible for building, supervising, motivating and leading a team of Enterprise Sales Representatives in Chicago as well as a separate team in Evansville, IN. The team is accountable for selling the full complement of Astound Business voice, data and video services focused on solution selling strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for selecting, supervising, developing, managing and motivating a team of Enterprise Sales Representatives and Account Managers. Also a team in Evansville, IN consisting of a hybrid sales leader along with a small team.
- Meets or exceeds established sales team quotas by implementing effective sales strategies and methodologies.
- Responsible for leading the team to increased improvement in opportunity creation and funnel management.
- Regularly attends initial discovery meetings with Enterprise Sales Reps.
- Resolve more complex customer issues.
- Motivates, develops and provides training for team members.
- Utilizes CRM system and other tools to provide accurate monthly forecasting.
- Interacts with internal and external customers to ensure premier customer service.
- Identifies opportunities for increasing brand awareness and attends networking events to promote RCN Business.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Five or more year's leadership/supervisory experience in a commercial/ enterprise/ sales/ customer service/ business environment
- Industry experience preferred
- A people manager
- Outstanding business acumen, good at managing deadlines and excels at building relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation and computer skills are essential
- Must be well organized
- A strong team player
- Able to work independently and with other internal stakeholders, including operations, marketing and customer care
