ASSYST is looking for a Business Development Associate to support our existing clients and drive new business. This position will contribute to discovering opportunities for innovative solution development and provide inputs for strategic planning and positioning with full support from a corporate infrastructure that includes capture management, proposal development and management, and subject matter expertise covering a broad range of portfolio capabilities.
Primary Job Responsibilities: - Grow ASSYST's business in new and existing accounts, and build strong client relationships and satisfaction to ensure repeat business.
- Execute prospecting strategies for discovering new opportunities.
- Be proactive, persistent, and eager to learn new technology and processes.
- Communicate with all levels to seek new business.
- Collaborate and influence internal and external shareholders.
- Articulate our values, products, and services.
- Respond to complex client needs
- Prepare and present the detailed proposal in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.
- Work with clients to assure partner technical proficiency with company solutions.
- Work with the business development team to develop and execute joint business development/marketing activities that promote company solutions and create incremental opportunities.
- Coordinate with delivery teams and facilitate meetings and presentations.
- Facilitate closing of sales opportunities by coordinating cross-functional resources.
- Present regular partner progress reviews to internal management where appropriate.
Position Requirements, Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year accredited college/university or related work experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of successful sales and/or Business Development experience.
- Experience developing business opportunities utilizing GSA Schedule, IDIQ GWACs, and Agency BPAs, and responding to task order requirements are preferred
- Ability to lead consultative selling
- Highly organized, research-oriented, and data-driven, with strong attention to details
- Ability to use productivity and collaboration tools such as Salesforce CRM, Google Workspace, Office 365
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
