ASSYST is seeking a
Business Operational Analyst to support the operations and administrative applications of our client located in
Austin, TX.
The Business Operations Analyst in the Administrative Applications Organization evaluates business systems and user needs to align solutions with organizational strategy and enhance efficiency. Key responsibilities include analyzing and reengineering processes, developing system solutions, and conducting financial analyses (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI). This role also involves documenting requirements, defining functionalities, and detailing development steps for new or modified applications.
Please Note: Position will be fully remote. Program will allow candidates who are within the State of Texas. Key Responsibilities: - Support day-to-day operations of the Administrative Applications Organization, managing deliverables as directed by the Director of Administrative Applications.
- Take ownership of internally scoped projects, including software renewals, budget actions, contractor renewals, audit deliverables, vulnerability remediation, technical debt management, internal process reviews, and roadmap action items.
- Serve as a Scrum Master when required, overseeing Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum methodology practices.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures for the Administrative Applications organization.
Qualifications: - 8+ Years: Managing large budgets, procurement processes, software renewals, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: 4+ years using Jira, CSMĀ® or Professional Scrum Master certification, and experience with audit deliverables.
- Proficient in business process mapping, reengineering, and financial analysis (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI).
- Strong communicator with proven skills in Agile/Scrum leadership.
