Job DescriptionThe Washington Post seeks a
Senior Workday HRIS Analyst to drive innovation, take ownership, and champion cutting-edge solutions in this critical, client-facing role. This role will spearhead the configuration and optimization of Workday business processes, while also collaborating on a wide array of high-impact projects across multiple Workday modules. The HRIS team manages all Workday HCM modules, and the selected candidate will build expertise in areas such as absence management, benefits, compensation, recruiting, talent, time tracking, and staffing. This role reports to the HRIS Manager.

Responsibilities- Lead the configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring system performance aligns with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate closely with HR leadership, business partners, and technical teams to drive the successful design and deployment of solutions, ensuring seamless user adoption.
- Take charge of functional and regression testing for system fixes, upgrades, patches, and maintenance, ensuring smooth bi-annual Workday releases and introducing new system features.
- Lead high-impact projects, managing meetings, providing strategic updates, and driving deadlines with precision.
- Partner with HR to develop and refine actionable reports and user-friendly dashboards that inform decision-making.
- Provide hands-on training to HR operations team members, empowering them with the skills to utilize Workday efficiently.
- Support seamless domain integrations and manage critical HCM transactions, including job changes, promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations.
Qualifications- 3+ years of HRIS or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of direct Workday experience required.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex projects from conception to completion.
- Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, balancing multiple priorities with a clear sense of urgency.
- Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong independent worker with the capacity to perform under pressure and in a self-directed manner.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Adept at managing confidential data with the utmost discretion and integrity.

The salary range for this position is:
85,100.00 - 127,700.00 USD Annual
The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
