Senior Human Resources Business PartnerGeneral Purpose:Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the incumbent in this position will serve as a business partner supporting Judson at University Circle, South Franklin Circle and Home Care per CCRC compliance rules and regulations and performs HR generalist responsibilities as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Onboarding/Associates Matter- May assist with New Hire Orientation sessions, which may include but not limited to reviewing preparing New Hire handbooks and other handouts, scheduling presenters and associates, notifying managers of scheduled attendees and ensuring that all required handouts are distributed to participants.
Recognition- Manage, oversee and coordinate recognition programs for all three campuses
- Manager, oversee and coordinate annual anniversary recognition program for organization
- Identify other recognition initiatives and program to attract and retain associates.
Employee Relations- Conduct employee exit interviews to determine reasons for resignations. Track expressed reasons and coordinate with VP, HR, other HR Generalists and department managers to evaluate trends and issues. Make recommendations regarding training, programs, etc. to improve working environment and decrease turnover. Conduct exit interviews and captures data to identify trends and pertinent information.
- Conducts retention interviews and captures data to identify trends and pertinent information. Create a tool to capture information obtained from these interview to understand trends and opportunities.
- Within assigned departments, maintains awareness of current issues and concerns and timely informs the director, HR.
Union Matters- Participate, investigate grievances and union matters.
Compliance- Ensure compliance with required credentials by monitoring STNA, LPN, RN, BLS certification and ensure these credentials are properly maintained and do not expire.
Payroll/ADP Workforce Now- Be the team subject matter expert in ADP WFN
- Handle the HR aspects of payroll and provide to finance/payroll manager in a timely manner
Special Projects/Other Duties as Assigned- Participates in HR department meetings.
- Assists with personnel file auditing for annual ODH survey audit process.
- Miscellaneous: Maintains a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality. Observes all company rules and safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:A bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant course of study with 5-7 years' experience as a HR business partner or HR generalist. Related work experience preferred. Excellent verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills required. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Familiarity with Behavioral Interviewing concepts and technique. Computer literacy required, including strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook with some familiarity with HRIS; union experience a plus.
Physical Requirements. Good vision and hearing. Ability to lift 20 pounds, bend, stoop, sit for 1-2 hours at a time, walk upstairs.
