Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Director plays a critical role in optimizing the sales organization's efficiency and effectiveness. This position is responsible for designing and implementing strategic sales processes, managing sales technology and tools, and driving data-driven decision-making to achieve revenue targets and enhance overall sales performance. The Director will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and other key stakeholders to align sales strategies with business objectives, streamline operations, and support the sales team in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization:
    • Develop and implement sales processes and procedures utilizing the Koozie Group sales playbook to streamline operations and improve sales effectiveness.
    • Identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales cycle.
  • Sales Analytics:
    • Create and maintain sales reports and dashboards for tracking key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Sales Tools and Technology:
    • Manage and optimize Salesforce to ensure it meets the needs of the sales team.
    • Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Manage and integrate new technologies to optimize efficiency in sales processes and improve customer experiences. Ex: Rewards program.
  • Sales Support:
    • Provide operational support to the sales team, including training on tools, processes, and best practices.
    • Assist in the development of sales collateral and other resources to support sales efforts.
    • Design and establish an online training platform to support and enhance learning and development within the sales team in partnership with HR.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts and quotas.
    • Monitor sales performance against forecasts and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and other teams.
  • Sales Compensation and Incentives:
    • Assist in designing and administering sales compensation plans and incentive programs.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of compensation plans and recommend adjustments as needed


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree, in Business or other related field of study OR experience in advertising and promotional products industry
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Sales
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office, Outlook, CRM, ERP OBI systems.
  • Ability to work and prioritize independently, self-motivated and driven.
  • Must be detail oriented, have strong creative, analytic, critical thinking, decision making and presentation skills.
  • Exposure to a B2B and distributor sales environment preferred, but not required.
  • A passion to sell; Excellence in Customer Service
  • Effectively communicates, both written and verbally
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Results-driven and actively seeks out and engages customer prospects
