Join our team as a Director, Sales Operations and drive the creation of a world-class operations group for PLA's growing enterprise accounts. Lead with innovation, data-driven strategies, and a customer-first mindset to shape the future of national sales operations. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to meet business and client needs.
Responsibilities- Establish operations and processes, implementing platform technology, managing vendors, and drive wallet share growth for PLA's national sales accounts.Drive wallet share growth for PLA's national sales accounts
- Partner with sales team, locally and nationally, to expand/upsell programs to customers: this could be upselling to the current client group and/or accessing additional contacts within the client and delivering.
- Develop roadmaps for each national client that correlates products and solutions in necessary geographies, partnering with sales to create all-encompassing solutions for clients that fit their needs and lead to growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior management team and be key to accelerating PLA's growth strategy through the expansion and retention of new and existing national accounts and the service offerings they entrust PLA to provide.
- Organize, plan, and support national sales on National Account QBRs.
- Market PLA's expanding geography and capabilities to bolster existing customer relationships and generate new relationships to exceed growth targets.
- Understand the customer's competitive landscape to develop near and long-term solutions that allow for long term sustainability.
- Manage and develop a team of customer service representatives, providing leadership, coaching, and feedback to improve performance.
- Oversee the financials of the national account's organization in partnership with the CCO to determine pricing strategies and define department vision for future capabilities and drive a cost-efficient culture by emphasizing regular check points to the financial items.
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement projects by collaborating with IT, management, and field leadership to optimize processes and systems, and by enhancing HubSpot CRM reporting and analytics for wallet share growth and more efficient, automated reporting.
Experience & Education - 6+ years of related experience with an emphasis on supply chain-based operations, logistics, or brokerage management.
- At least 6 years of large customer relationship management, including demonstrated operations and account management success.
- Proven experience in developing organizations to drive business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in building strong external and internal relations while holding high professional and ethical standards, resulting in customer satisfaction.
- A tech-savviness and ability to articulate vision and the value of new technology internally and externally.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related.
